I do think it's weird to be honest. To me Saxon is a name for someone who belongs to the Germanic people who lived in Britain centuries ago. It's a bit like naming your daughter Aryan, Celt or Goth. And if I remember correctly I don't think it goes well with her other children's names (Leonidas and Abram?)
With that said, Saxon is not that terrible. The spelling and the pronunciation is pretty straight forward. It's quite masculine though.
