[Opinions] Cambria
What do you think of the name Cambria? Is it alright for a girl who isn't Welsh?

I know a girl named Cambria. I always thought it was pretty and unique. It suits her well, and no she isn't Welsh.
I love it. I don't think it matters whether or not you are Welsh, if you love a name, use it. :)

I like it. That was what I was going to name a daughter at one point. It can have a lot of nns too, like Cam, Cammi, Cambri, Bri / Brie, Bria, etc.
I like it. I actually think it's going to catch on one of these days. It's fine even if the person isn't Welsh.
Yeah, it's alright on a girl who isn't Welsh. As far as I know, the only Cambria I know isn't Welsh. Her parents' first names start with "C" and they wanted to continue the tradition. I think it's cute, though I'm not a fan of the middle name: Ann. But it's also a tradition for her family for the oldest girl to have the middle name Ann. SUch a shame. Cambria Rose would've sounded much prettier.
I like it!
I think it's better for a girl who isn't Welsh, really. It's like nameing an American child Kansas or Chicago.
I really like Cambria, it's cute, even though it reminds me of the band Coheed and Cambria, which, to me, is a good association.
Cambria also has good nicknames, like Cam, Cammie, Bri, Bria, Ria...

It's okay, but not my taste.

The only association with this name I make is Coheed & Cambria.

It just reminds me of the Cambrian Era.

The Cambrian is the first geological period of the Phanerozoic eon, lasting from 542 ± 0.3 million years ago to 488.3 ± 1.7 million years ago (ICS, 2004)[5]; it is succeeded by the Ordovician. Its subdivisions, and indeed its base, are somewhat in flux. The period was established by Adam Sedgwick, who named it after Cambria, the classical name for Wales, where Britain's Cambrian rocks are best exposed.[6]

I don't like it, because everytime I hear it I get these images:
Sangria
Camels
Brie cheese
Cambria is like a smash up of all these words.
But, that aside, name is fine for a girl who isn't Welsh. I can see it becoming pretty mainstream in the future.
