I agree that Avery is less trendy and/or popular than Jackson. Honestly, even though my husband and I named our daughter Avery, I think the name is very elegant, although maybe a little "fussy" on a little boy. Given the choice between Avery and Jackson, I would say Avery Samuel.
Now, given the choice between Avery and Jack, I would go with Jack Samuel. I love Jack. Would Jack be a consideration?
