Help[Opinions] Irulan
I was reminded of how much I liked Dune a while ago and remembered that my favorite character was Irulan. What do you think of this used as a first name? I thought I could use it as a middle name, but is it acceptable as a first?

I'm a big sucker for naming people after characters :)
I like Phaedra Irulan, Garnet Irulan, Irulan Calla, irulan Lux, and Irulan Mina. Others are Irulan Nyx, Irulan Onyx, and Oriana Irulan. I also though of Irulan Alia but, even I admit it, that woukd be a bit too much Dune.
It would be cool to see it as a fn on someone else's kid but if it was my kid I would probably use it as a mn.

I think it has a cool sound, it's very harsh and authoritative. I think I like it better as a middle name. I like your Beatrix Irulan!
