4. The Holiday

You, Virva, are in a bad place; your boyfriend, Dashiell has just dumped you, as he has been cheating on you for years! You are sad and decide to comfert yourself by going on a vacation and end up doing a “house-swap” with a women you meet online, Lori. You travel across the country to Lori’s house and are surprised to find love while away. You fall in love with Lori’s brother, Marcus Rhodes. How does it work out with the fact that you live miles away? How is your vacation? What happens when you have to leave?
Before:
That two-faced, cowardly... ugh! I should have left him years ago, instead of taking him in every single time. To think the time I've wasted on that good for nothing jack***! And then for him to dump me like that - I should have been the one doing the dumping! But you know what Virva? You're done with him. Done. Final. And you are glad!
Oh then why do I feel so bad? Awkward, lonely and weary... I know! I need a change of scene. Just some time off.
Hmm, a house-swap wouldn't be bad... There's this woman I met on online, Lori. She's looking to do a house swap too...
After:
When I arrived at Lori's house, I came across so many inconveniences. Dear my, did I miss my good ole' villa! But hey, I wanted change, I got it. However, on my first night there I got a visitor. Marcus Rhodes. Apparently Lori had a brother she had forgotten to mention. So, since he was rather amiable and quite pleasant, we shared a dinner and then a bottle of wine... and somehow we ended up sharing the bed too - lets just say his looks were hardly discouraging. We decided it would be a one night stand. Not a relationship. Not even a fling. A one night stand.
But...
Who said you can control desire? Or chemistry? Who said you can control a blossoming love from blooming? Well, if anyone ever said you can, they were mistaken. Our one night stand turned into a two night stand and so forth. He was not like my ex. He was a whole new species of man! I fell head over heels for him, and I don't regret it. We had the most wonderful - magical - nights the stars had seen. Marcus and I were serious. Thats when some smal practical difficulties came into question. We live miles away from each other, what would happen when I left?
Well, to make a long story short, I decided to move to [insert place that Lori lives] and see how things go. Marcus and I are now living happily in a quaint little cottage in the [insert country] countryside. If things continue this well, we 're even thinking of starting a family!
