My brother says if he ever has a son this is what he will be named.
What are your initial impressions or thoughts of the name Nolan?

It's not my style but I think it's a fairly decent name.

I actually like Nolan, especially its meaning. I've only met one in my entire life. He's in elementary school.

My initial impression is -- oh, surnamey, trendy name.

It's OK, but not something that I would be thrilled to hear a baby named, honestly.

My initial impression is of a physically fit, athletic type. This is because I remember the major league pitcher Nolan Ryan. A friend of my sister's named one of her twin boys Nolan. The other one was named Patrick. I think it's a handsome name.

I didn't used to like it until I met a Nolan. He is such a nice guy. I like Nolan a lot now because of the positive association. Of course, there is also Nolan Ryan, but I've never really followed baseball.
