[Opinions] Violetta (I need to gush!)
I think this Latinate form of Violet radiates beauty and elegance -- I'm therefore deeply enamored of it.
What's the reason for my obsession with the name, you ask?
1. Its usage is both Italian and Russian, and these are the two modern languages that I'm studying in college.
2. It's inherently floral, and my newfound love of Mrs. Dalloway has inspired a love of flowers.
3. It complements my ponderous Italian surname magnificently .
Which of the following combinations enrapture you?

If I may offer you my own thoughts... For myself, I am desperately in love with the coquettish Violette, sans the flourish of the final A sported by her Italian cousin. Also, as much as I love Alice and Alys, for example, I prefer not to have a final vowel sound in front of a beginning vowel sound (which is why I love Violette; she can stand comfortably before Anaïs, Oriane and Éliane). The exception was Eugenie, since it arguably begins with a consonantal Y sound rather than a true vowel. In addition, I have a few modest suggestions for you, as below. My tastes are rather more fanciful than others', so stand warned.
Violetta Bellona
Violetta Benedetta (I am okay with the repetition of -etta's though I know not everyone would be)

I appreciate it, but I don't like it. Too fancy for my personal taste; I tend to go for one or two syllable names.
I strongly prefer Viola, which incidentally is the Latin name for the flower.
Violetta is a beautiful (and underappreciated) name.

I think you've transferred unto me the love for Violetta. it's absolutely charming in a rather Victorian sort of way.
Violetta Maud - I think Maud is simple enough to let Violetta take the spotlight and shine.
Violetta Rachel - reminds me of a saucy yet refined lass.
Those are the two combos that I think work the best, however, one name option you didn't include is Violetta Hester. I would LOVE to see that. Hester works so nicely with Violetta, I think.
