It is 1910.
The Montgomery family has been doing well. Kenny and Clara and their children have been busy with the necessities of life. Kenny was shot in the arm in 1907, but has since healed up just fine. Alice is growing up quickly, and she loves to get dressed up and play with her dolls. Henry, Andy, and Joey spend most of their time together. Henry has a special love for animals. Andy and Joey both like music, and they are learning how to play the violin in town. In 1909, Kenny and Clara welcomed a fourth boy, Matthew Lee Montgomery. Matthew is a fussy baby, but the kids adore him anyway. He is now walking around and causing trouble. Just yesterday he was almost run over by the cow.
