Um, pie and sky have the same 'i' sound.

umm, surely pie and sky are pronounced the same?

Hmm...never thought about pie and sky. My eldest son's mn is Kai and my 'shortcut' is 'KIGH like high'. At any rate, all three illustrate the long I sound which is what it has so whatever floats your boat really...sky, pie, sigh, fly, nigh, my, guy, why :o)
