I like Kevin Patrick personally.

It can work, but I just find it dull and dated personally.

Kevin is a name to me like Jason, Justin, Brandon, Tiffany, Melissa or Stephanie. They are very pre-2000s and many people imo dont seem to use them anymore but a little baby Kevin would be cute. I like Kevin James nn K.J.

Kevin is one of my favorite names, I adore it. I think it's handsome, rich in Irish culture, solid, sweet, strong, just a perfect name.It would go with just about anything...Kevin Oliver
Kevin Matthias
Kevin Theodore
Kevin Malachy
Kevin Andrew

I am not fond of the name Kevin...it's overused. It is, however, better than Sean or Ryan
If you like Celtic names, try Seamus or Peredur...both are beautiful, underused Celtic names.

Kevin can work on a child in a few years' time, right now, fifty years from now, and fifty years ago. It has an enduring popularity. My sister once said that although she doesn't really like the name itself, she thinks it has a "nice guy" image. That is, for her it always brought to mind a really, sweet, nice guy. Well, maybe she's changed her mind about that now, since Kevin was the name of her first husband and she divorced him.I've never cared for it and never really understood its popularity. To me, it's reminiscent of Marvin and Melvin, two names I really dislike. But then, I love Calvin, which has the same ending as Kevin, Marvin, and Melvin, and sounds quite similar to Kevin. But Calvin has the advantage of the nickname Cal, which I love. But I digress. Kevin has never been a big favorite of mine.

Now this will sound snobby, but in Britland it's often seen as a very downmarket name, on a par with Lee, Gary and Wayne.
I realise that it's the name of a saint, and think it works well enough with Irish surnames.

I really don't like this name, and I couldn't tell you why. I just have always disliked it. It sounds like a middle aged man's name, and I hate the nickname Kev.

Nngg. Sorry, but I really dislike Kevin. I couldn't even tell you why. I think it could work on a child in a few years though because it would fit right in with current naming trends. Irish, starts with K, and ends with -in/-an/-en/-yn.

Kevin is quite popular here for some reason. It was # 33 in 2008. Personally, I don't like it at all. I don't like the look or sound of it and to be honest it's a bit of a low class name in my opinion. I can see it on a child now and in a few years time. I don't think I've ever met a Kevin who wasn't a child.Middle name suggestions:
Kevin Alexander
Kevin Theodore
Kevin Michael
Kevin Johannes
Kevin Emmanuel
Kevin Isaac
Kevin Lucas
Kevin Oliver
Kevin Jacob
Kevin Patrick
