I've just fallen in love with Edwin. I think it's the -win ending that seals the deal for me. I've never quite gotten on with Edward and I like Edmund well enough, but I'm singing Edwin's praises right now! I'm really liking Edwin nn Win, like Win from Arcade Fire.

WDYT of Edwin? What about Win?

(I also really like Wyn / Wynn.)

but I'm finding it hard to pair Edwin with something!

Edwin is a nice name. I do however, prefer Edmund, and my absolute favorite name of all time, Edward.
If your having troubles with middle names, try Edwin Alexander. Edwin Francis also works, as do Edwin Eleazar and Edwin Charles. I think even Edwin James or Edwin John might work.

Edwin is lovely. I do however prefer Edward and Edmund.

Edwin Frederick and Edwin Theodore are great.

I like Edwin! Also Edwyn, not sure which one I like more. The -win ending does make it better than Edward or Edmund. The "d" bothers me a little in all of those names, but not too much.
As far as nn Win goes, I think I prefer Edwyn nn Wyn because it isn't a word, but Win works too.
Edwin Caspian is good, and Edwin Theodore and Edwin Nathaniel.
I just thought of Edwin Achilles; maybe for a character?
Also Edwin Lysander, Edwin Jasper, Edwin Michael, and Edwin Christopher.

Ahh, Edwin...

I just adore Edwin, really! My best friend from high school had this name, and my great great aunt was called Edwina. Her sisters were named Ida, Celestina, Ginevra, and Beatrice!
