[Opinions] Fitzhugh & Hugh
WDYT of Fitzhugh?
Do you prefer Fitzhugh or just Hugh?
Fitzhugh is probably just a whim for me, but I'm finding it rather appealing at the moment. Hugh on the other hand is a long time favorite of mine and also a distant family name. I particularly love the meaning of Hugh.
Also, I've just updated my name list and I would really appreciate votes. The link is in my signature. TIA!

I totally just voted and commented on your list in the babynames LJ community. :) I saw the title of your post and though... what a coincidence that I just saw Fitzhugh!
I prefer just Hugh as a first name, but Fitzhugh is pretty darn awesome, and I'd be excited to see it used. It just seems a bit over the top to be a first name.

Hugh has grown on me over the last few years. It was my Dad's name(he was Hubert but always went by Hugh) and though I prefer Aodh I have come around to liking Hugh a lot more than I used to. I hate Hughie though and Hubert.
I would certainly use Hugh as a middle name.
Fitzhugh sounds like gilding the lily to me though.

I love Hugh, its my grandfathers name although I think it could suit all ages.
Prefer Hugo to be honest, just sounds more refined!
