Overall, everybody is now more excepting of this young family. Sep it working at his family's store and Esme is a full time mom and has had her first novel published. Giselle and Felix love tottering around the forest or the store, and Esme has started to home-school both (she's pretty sure that they will also attend public school when they get to that age, but for now...).
Giselle is starting to manifest magical talent in earnest now (like lights flickering when she's mad/scared and the ability to find whatever she wants no matter where it might be), and Felix seems almost able to talk to the animals.
Renata was born with a shock of black hair and violet-gray eyes. Even though she is an infant, she has the bearing of royalty. Esme's family is sure that she is a reborn princess.
