I adore Anneliese. I pronounce it Ahna-LEESE, BTW.
When I hear it, I think of a pretty, studious girl who works hard and has a good heart. It's a very sweet name.

I pronounce it AH-ne-lee-zə and I find it to be very outdated and frumpy. It reminds me of a sweet but weird old lady smelling of mothballs.
