How is this pronounced? To rhyme w/ work or York? To trill the r or not? Thanks! (Oh, it's in the database)

I would have to say the same as everyone else. I majored in Swedish, and though I did not study Icelandic, I do know that bjork in Swedish rhymes with the word jerk. (sorry cannot make umlauts on my computer)

The singer Bjork has stated that it rhymes with "jerk".

It's true...at least when it comes to Swedish (it's the Swedish word for the tree birch) and I know it's pronounced the same way in Icelandic.

It's pronounced like Björn, but with a k instead of an n.
