I prefer Noah on a boy. I also like Gabriel.

I think Noa should be the female version, Noah the male. For some reason, the "H" makes it masculine.

Absolutely terrible!
Even though Noa/Noah is a girl's name (as in the Bible) it reminds me of that better-known Biblical character, Noah/Noach, the old man with the Ark.

With the h it's just too bizarre as a girl's name for me. Stick to just Noa. It's very airy and feminine that way. Cute.

As for Ismene, Olivia and Gabriel, is that a set? If it is, I like it. Lots of different flavors. Separately I adore Gabriel, Ismene is very nice, and Olivia is bland. It's like plain tea. It is very classic and pretty though, so I can't discount it entirely.

Also: for all these people who like Noa/Noah on a girl, has anyone considered Shenoa (http://www.behindthename.com/submit/view.php?name=shenoa)? I think it's really beautiful, and it's got Noa tacked on at the end. :)

I love Ismene. Very beautiful. Olivia is nice too, but becoming far too common. Gabriel somehow made it into my top 5 boy names, despire popularity. I'm completely in love.

I really dislike Noah on a girl. It doesn't sound the slightest bit feminine to me. Not crazy about Ismene, but Olivia and Gabriel are okay.

One of my favorite Noah combos is actually Noah Olivia. I like Olivia but it's common. I dislike Ismene. Gabriel is fine.

I like Ismene, but prefer it as a nickname (dislike "Izzy" and "Mene"!). Olivia is nice, but I much prefer Livia. Gabriel is ok.

I much prefer Noa on a girl (I like the sans H spelling). I think its spunky and it has a feminine sound to me. It goes well with the other names you have listed. Ismene is pretty, and Gabriel is nice. Olivia is a bit overused IMO and I am tired of hearing. I prefer Livia, Liviana or Olive.
