Location: Oaxaca, Mexico
The Osunas were doing poorly for quite a while, but then Valeriano and his older two sons found jobs. In 1934, after losing her home, the Osunas took in Valeriano's mother, Crescencia. The family struggles with their own needs, but they do well with her.
Also that year, Claudio, Leoncio's son, got run over by a car. There was a lot of worry about him. Unfortunately, he ended up dying. The family misses him terribly.
