Babies born in the UK in March 2009. Parents' names are in brackets.
BOY:
Cosmo Alexander (Alex & Edward), sibs Tilly, Olivia and Christabel
Hugo (Sarah & James), brother Henry
Jack Nicholas Alexander (Natalie & Jeremy)
Joseph Robert Arthur (Alexandra & Jeremy), sister Daisy
Milo George Thomas (Louise & Barnaby), sister Florence
Oliver Peter (Victoria & Mark), sibs Patrick and Hugo
Otto George Merlin (Megan & Barnaby), sibs Santa and Kit -Santa!?!?
Percy John Brodie (Nicola & Richard)
Robert Euan (Julia & Fergus)
Sam Alexander John (Charlotte & Ed), sister Polly
Thomas James (Hatty & Oliver), sibs Esme, Georgia and Molly
Toby Arthur John (Fiona-Jane & Michael)
Tom (Lally & Nick), sibs Ella and Sam
William George Alexander (Alexandra & James), sister Jemima
-There seems to be a lot combos with two middle names. I didn't think it was that common in Britain.

two middle names
Two middle names is incredibly common in the UK, actually, especially amongst upper-class families [i.e. those mentioned in the Telegraph].
Also, I don't like Santa either, but at least it's a legitimate name, unlike about half of those in BAs from the U.S. :/

Most of them are not my style at all but I'm pleased to see a Tom. I really like it on its own (although I would have chosed a middle name as well). Others I don't mind are:
Oliver Peter
Toby Arthur John (although don't like Arthur)
Thomas James
William George Alexander.
Two middle names seem to be the norm for kind of people who announce their child's birth in the Telegraph. It's more of an upper class thing, it's not widespread.
