[Opinions] Re: Peronel
in reply to a message by Wordsmith
I know Peronel is feminine. But it looks so masculine to me. I think I'm confusing it with Cornel.
But I got used to, and now love, the Isobel spelling of Isabelle. Similarly, I now prefer the Marion spelling to Marian. So the odds are when I'm used to Peronel I'll love it all the more for its counter-intuitive (to me) spelling.
As usual, you have scores of great combinations. The ones that stand out the most for me are:
Peronel Blanche
Peronel Cecily
Peronel Clotilda
Peronel Edith
Peronel Isotta
Peronel Matilda
Peronel Winifred
Peronel is already putting me in the mood for a little Scarlet Pimpernel action. And for some reason Decameron Nights. Is there a character named Peronel in there?
