[Opinions] Minerva?
I visited the Roman Baths in Bath, England earlier this week, which were dedicated by the Romans to the goddess Sulis Minerva, and since then I've kind of fallen for the name Minerva!
What do you think of Minerva? Do you prefer the name Minerva, or that of her Greek counterpart, Athena? Have you got any combo ideas?
TIA!

I love Minerva. I used to work with someone with that name. She is Mexican and I like the sound of it in Spanish. I also had a great-great-great-grandmother with that name. I'm still a bit partial to Athena as a name for whatever reason. I guess I like the sound of it a bit better. I'm not sure of any combos, but my relative was Minerva Jane. :-)
We had a cat once named Minerva...
I definitely prefer Minerva to Athena, but it's not a favorite in any way. I don't like the -nerv part, that's what bothers me the most about the name. I think it might be better as a middle name, although the potential nickname Mia is kind of cute.

Ignore. Double post.

I like the name Minerva, but strongly prefer Athena.
I am fond of Minerva and definitely prefer it to Athena. I would pair it with an ultra-traditional middle name, such as Minerva Catherine or Minerva Elizabeth.
I like Minerva but prefer Minervina(Minervina was either the wife or mistress of Constantine the Great). I prefer them both to Athena which I find a bit dowdy.
Touring the baths sounds wonderful by the way.
