I love Rose, it's so short, but the sound it full so I prefer it to most similar names. I don't find it frilly at all, and at this point it really is refreshing.

I like it on its own mostly, but I don't mind Rosalie, Rosaline, or Rosalind. I even like Rosamund sometimes.

I think it fits with anything classic, though leaning towards simple rather than frilly or even just long. For some reason I think that Rose and Camille would be great for sisters.
