...really pronounced Han-ya or is that just how you would pronounce it in English? I've thought about how to pronounce this name in English quite often because Mischa Barton's sister is called Hania, and the spelling of the name strikes me. I've always thought, maybe 'HAY-nee-a' would work? Or 'HAH-nee-a'? I dislike 'HAN-ya', I daresay, but on the whole I love the name because it's not common in Germany, North America or Britain, and I prefer it to Hannah which I dislike a bit for its sometimes too simple sound and spelling.
