LN: Synge
DH: Samuel Joseph "Sam" Synge (4/9/1879)
DW: Mary Elizabeth "Libby" [Abernathy] Synge (12/14/1881)
DD: Thomasina Celeste Synge (7/24/1900)
DD: Esther Lenore Synge (9/2/1902)
DS: Frederick "Freddy" Abernathy Synge (3/1/1905)
Location: Los Angeles, California
Sam has advanced quickly in his father-in-law's company, now functioning as Frederick Abernathy's right-hand man. This affords Sam less time to spend with his growing family, much to Libby's displeasure. She makes it a point of kidnapping her husband from work several times a month for family outings; she wants to make absolute sure that Sam doesn't have the same kind of stunted relationship with his children that Libby had with her own father until recent years. Thomasina has grown into a beautiful little girl with her father's curiosity and her mother's stubbornness and fearlessness. She is most at home bossing around shy little Esther and overseeing Libby's care of baby Freddy with a watchful eye (even though Thomasina is sure that a little brother won't ever be quite as much fun as a little sister).
