What are your thoughts on this name, Metin? It is a male name. What combos would you put it in? Do you think it would go best with another Turkish name or should it be anchored with a name that is normal (not really popular, just used at least sometimes) in the country in which I live (America)?

Maybe Metin would go well with a mn slightly longer than it (i.e. 3 syllable names); I can't think of any in particular at the moment though.

I am curious about the pronounciation. It looks like it is pronounced by combining the English words 'met' and 'in', or maybe MEET-in.... but I'm not sure.

It is pronounced Meh-tin, and sounds very similiar to the word Mittin.
