What do you think of Charity as a name?

Do you think there are too many negative connotations about "being treated like charity," for example?

I like other virtue names such as Faith and Hope as middle name options, especially. I like Grace, too, but it doesn't go well with our LN.

I wouldn't use them all in a sib-set, though!

I like virtue names. Although, I know many people on the boards do not. I think Charity is a fine name to use. It could be used in a lovely combo if given a nice mn.

ETA: Charity Alice, as suggested in another post, would be lovely. :)

Charity is a little dated to me but its ok I guess. I would use a middle name like Charity Isabelle or Charity Alice.

I think it should be used as a first name it is so cuite and my lil sis friend is Charity and to me it is someone who is cuite,sweet and etc.I would name my daughter Charity Elisebth,or Charity Grace.if i ever had one.:)

I actually know a girl named Charity. Her name is really different than everyone else's and she definitely gets attention for it, if that's what you're looking for. There are several negative comments made about her name, though.
