Nathaniel and Imogene had a son named Alphonso.
Marjorie and Hershel divorced and she married Rogers Thomas. They had a son named Harrell and Marjorie adopted Rogers daughter from his first marriage: Aurelia.
Christina and Normand had another child. They hoped for a son, but they had a sixth daughter.
Franklin and Consuela had son Stanford in 1946.
Adelheid got pregnant again and she and the father (Lamont D. Smith) married. She gave birth to daughter Delphine soon after.
After the sudden death of Sheldon, Barbara found out that she is pregnant again. Soon afterwards she even found out that she will have more than one child, but she never expected having quadruplets.
The babies were born and named: Annabelle, Brooks, Celeste and Danielle.
This year patriarch Frederick Abbott died of a stroke. He was 74 years old.
