I really adore the name, no matter how it's spelled. I would probably say Katarina, although they're really too close to call. I came across the name for the first time listening to a tape when I was little; it was called "Vivaldi's Ring of Mystery." This is probably the only reason why I could pick that spelling; it's the one used in that piece.

I'm used to Katharina, the German form of the name, which is extremely common here. In an English speaking country I'd use it without the H. I prefer Katarina, but my favorite spelling would be Catarina.
