BtN's database lists Yannick as unisex. In countries where the name is used, is it really used for both boys and girls?
I'm sure I've seen Yanna somewhere as a fem. form of Yann ... Perhaps Yannick was also used as a nickname for Yanna?

I have checked the situation in France - see the following link:

This shows that yes, Yannick in France is actually unisex, but there seem to be roughly 10 times more males than females with this name.
