Leo is wonderful! Considering it's in the top 250 in the U.S. I wouldn't consider it too old fashioned to use at all. Although I prefer Leo as a nn, it's okay on it's own.
Leo Michael is okay. How about Leo Matthias, Leo Isaac, or Leo Nathaniel?
