Considering that I think Elliott is such a strong name on a boy, I don't like it that much on a girl. Plus the whole "let's stick a boy's name on a girl" trend is rather tiring.

However, I sometimes like Elliot on a girl...this may be due to my excessive "Scrubs" intake though.
