I am opposite. I love Edmund but dislike Edmond, though I could come to like it. I don't like Edward either.
If I was to choose a nn for Edmund it would definately be Ned, but since I don't really like that nn either I stick Edmund in the mn slot.
ETA: I also don't like that Edmond makes me want to pronounce it Ed-MOND instead of Ed-MUND.
