I knew a Veerle once (I live in the Netherlands), and she wasn't exactly the kindest of girls, so the name has a negative connotation for me. But if I have to look at the name itself, then I don't like it either.

It is too hard to say, but I don't know, maybe one would get used to it...

Veerle is hard for me to say, but I do like the meaning.
