When James announced that Violetta was with child again, it caused quite a stir in Vanitano-Umbreca, for the crown prince was not yet five months old. But as long as the heir to the throne was alive and healthy, the citizens were satisfied. Thus this pregnancy did not garner as much attention as had the previous three. This did not, however, lessen the widespread desire for another von Talvio son -- just in case, one might say. When the queen gave birth to twin girls, then, there was not a small amount of disappointment.
One of the daughters, named Aurora, was too sickly to survive longer than a few hours. The other, Antonia, was as healthy as can be. She was named in honor of her father and already has his spirited disposition!
