What do you think of just 'Kate'?Do you think it could work today amongst lots of baby Ava's, Madisyn's and Caitlin's?Do you prefer it as a nickname for Catherine/Caitlin?What do you thing of the spelling Cate?Kate or Cate?
I love Kate as a nickname and on it's own. It's very classy and sweet. I personally love it as a nn for Kathleen and Katharine. I don't like Cate though, it doesn't look right to me.
I prefer Kate, but then I'm slightly biased. But I genuinely think it looks more logical than Cate. I think it can hold it's own as a name, but Katrina nn Kate is pretty, or Kathleen nn Kate.
