[Opinions] Gawain
I've loved Gawain for a long time and I've been wondering for a while what other's thought of it. Do you think it's useable? Do you think it would be too much to have a Guinevere and Gawain in the same sibset? And WDYTO the combo Gawain Robert?

It's prn like guh-WHINE, right? That's unattractive, and Gawain and Guinevere are way too Arthurian as a sibset. It's barely usable at all, IMO.

Score!Ever since I read "The Once and Future King," I've been waiting for someone to use Gawain! WOOHOO! I think Guinevere and Gawain would probably be a GP sibset for me, but I'd actually think it was awesome if someone else would do that. If you have triplets, you can add in Galahad. ;-)You lost me at Gawain Robert, though... it just ruins the flow! Robert is just so mid-20th-century, and Gawain is so... knightly! I'd suggest another "medieval" name like these:Gawain Arthur
Gawain Antor
Gawain Avalloc
Gawain Emeric
Gawain Bedivere
Gawain Bertram
Gawain Caradoc
Gawain Clarion
Gawain Dristan
Gawain Ector
Gawain Launcelot
Gawain Mariadoc
Gawain Cedric
Gawain Percival
Gawain Taliesin
Gawain Tristan
Gawain Pendragon (just for kicks)

You do have a good point about Robert. These are cool:Gawain Arthur - still very much considering this, if I don't use Arthur as a FN.
Gawain Bedivere
Gawain Percival - neat, I've been liking Percival lately.
Gawain Taliesin
Gawain Pendragon

I love Gawain! I think it's useable, but if you're worried about it, you could use Gavin. Although, Gavin is very popular where I live right now. Being a literature major specializing in medieval literature, I would live to see Guinevere and Gawain as a sibset.

Do you think it's useable?-YesDo you think it would be too much to have a Guinevere and Gawain in the same sibset?-Maybe. Maybe not a lot of people are familiar with them? In which case it wouldn't be too much. But I mean, why not anyways? I'd love to meet a Guinevere or a Gawain, even in the same sibset. And WDYTO the combo Gawain Robert? -I like it, it works well. I think I'd prefer Gawain Roberto, though I have no idea why.

I don't really think it's useable. But it's by no means a bad name! I very much like Guinevere, though, and think it's more useable. Definitely having Gawain and Guinevere in the same sibset is too much IMO. But I do like the combo Gawain Robert.

I prefer the simpler Gavin, which I quite like.Gawain Robert is ok, a more traditional mn is a good idea, imo, but since I'm not a fan of Robert either the combo does nothing for me. How about these:Gawain Alexander
Gawain David
Gawain Samuel
Gawain Theodore
Gawain Rafael
Gawain Donovan
Gawain Phillip
