[Opinions] Roxanne
What do you think of Roxanne or Roxane, nickname Roxy? How would you spell it?
Do you prefer Roxana or Roxanna? Which spelling do you like best?
Do you think Roxy could work on its own as well? Would you spell it Roxy or Roxie?
Do you know anyone named Roxie/Roxy, Roxanne/Roxane, Roxanna/Roxana? Do the Roxannes/Roxannas you know go by a nickname?
Will it get more popular? Could you see it in the top 100?

I know two Roxannes. One is maybe 14, the other probably 60. Both are very nice women. Though I do mainly think of Roxane from "Cyrano de Bergerac" when I hear the name...
I prefer the spellings Roxane and Roxana. I think Roxy as a full name is too cutesy, but it's a good nickname. That's what the Roxanes I know go by.
I can see it in the top 100 eventually, but probably in the form Roxy. It could easily become a trendy revival IMO.

I love all names related to Roxana, so I heart both Roxanne, Roxane and Roxy (as a nickname), but I definitely prefer Roxana. It's my best friend's name and it has grown on me so much that it's one of my favourites. She goes by Roxy. Teachers used to have a lot of problems with her name for some reason. She was called Mexicana, Rexona, Sahara, etc. It's not that hard!
♥ Roxana ♥
I adore both Roxanne and Roxana. I also like Roksana, the Russian version. I would spell the names exactly as I have them, although I suppose Roxanna would also work. Roxy is an adorable nickname, but I really can't see it on its own. Sounds more like a full name for a dog.
I don't know anyone named Roxy, Roxie, Roxane, Roxanne, Roxana, or Roxanna! I think that's part of the name's charm; it's familiar but unusual. Other nicknames could be Anna or Annie; I could even see Rosie.
