I absolutely love this name and agree with you on Verity being the exception to most virtue names - I don't usually like virtue names either.
I think I like Verity and Felicity - my other exception virtue name - because Verity and Felicity are not words that I use in everyday conversation like Hope, Faith, and Joy etc. Also Verity and Felicity don't reek of religious or moral overtones like Charity, Chastity, and Trinity.
The meaning for Verity is the best. This world could use more truth. I'm a little stuck on middle names though.
