I think the problem I have with is exacerbated by the painting "Ophelia" by Millais I - that's the image I have in my head when I think of the name. I actually like the sound of Ophelia.
Tbh, I wouldn't use Romeo either - because of the play - I always thought he was a twat.

I so agree. I had to study R&J in secondary school when I was the same age as the unfortunate pair. They left me cold - I much preferred Macbeth which I studied the next year.
