[Games] Re: Rachel Shay's Adoption Agency -- trying something new

Dear Austin and Malia Thompson:
You are receiving your first choice from our adoption agency. You are now the proud parents of 7 year old Maizie!
Amazing Katrina “Maizie”, age 7, is loves to be held and cuddled, and her foster family says, "She is a joy to have in our home." She delights in seeing her foster family members and smiles in recognition of them. She also laughs at toys that have lights and flash. Maizie is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and is totally dependent on others for her care. She is unable to speak and cannot sit, crawl, or feed herself; however, she has made some progress regarding holding her head up. It is also important that she is not exposed to smoke. Maizie does not present any behavioral difficulties to caregivers. She sometimes recognizes peers if she sees them frequently over a long period of time.

Just like her name says, Maizie is an amazing child. She has fitted nicely into our family. She attends a special school for children with severe disabilities, and seems to enjoy it. She also has physical, occupational and speech therapy. Likely she will be dependent on other people for rest of her life, but we are hoping that she will make some progress and will find ways to express herself and communicate.
Our other children are great with Maizie. Charles, our 24-year-old son who has Down's syndrome, likes to cuddle with Maizie and often amuses her with toys that have sounds or lights. Charles and Maizie have a very special bond. Maizie enjoys listening her 14-year-old sister Shayla playing piano. "You are my sunshine" seems to be her favorite song. She also likes to watch our fish tank, the only common interest she has with our autistic daughter Jillian. 10-year-old Bailey, who wants to be a nurse someday, often helps us feeding Maizie. Helping Maizie has really benefited Bailey too. Maizie has learned to recognize Patrick, Ryan and Geraldine, our grown-up children who live on their own. They visit us regularly and Maizie always smiles when she sees them.
Like we did with our other adopted children, we kept Maizie's given name and gave her second middle name after a relative. She is now Amazing Katrina Sinead.
