I really don't like Marisa\Marissa. To me, it's a name, along with Melissa, Alyssa, Clarissa that "tries too hard." It's TOO pretty-pretty. It just seems to scream, "Look at me! Aren't I pretty? I'm all hearts and flowers and lace! I'm so girly-girly." All of those names just seem too OBVIOUS. Too obviously frilly is what I mean.
