[Opinions] Re: Virginia

I like it too. If you are afraid she will be made fun of, homeschool her. Do not let little kids pick on your baby because of her name, and homeschooling will protect her, make her a nice kid, and give her intelligence. I have been homeschooled all my life; I just turned 13 and I am in high school. How many public school kids are in that grade at that age?

I was in high school at age 12
And it was a public school. Let's not get into the whole homeschooling vs. public schooling debate, but if you're going to have to homeschool your kid because of her name, maybe you need to rethink the name.

It's semi-illegal where I am, and I'm not in favour of it for various reasons I'm not going to discuss here because it's OT.
If I were THAT worried about teasing in relation to a certain name, I'd probably avoid using it. However, A lot of kids get picked in school anyway and survive more or less unscathed. And I know zillions of people who went to public schools and are nice and intelligent.
It seems you're using my question as a pretext to boast how smart and precocious you are.

Yeah...that.
To answer your original question, I really don't think the "virgin" part of Virginia will stand out to kids and be a cause of teasing, I personally never really notice it.
I love the name BTW.

Ditto.
Homeschooling because of a name?
That's a bit drastic. :O
