Emma a lot better than
Emily, although I don't mind
Emily. I think
Emma is pretty and I like the history and literary connections.
I also really like
Emmeline. More than
Emma. I pronounce it EM-meh-line too, although I also like EM-meh-leen.
I don't like
Emerald at all. I agree that there is something appealing about
Emerson, but I wouldn't say I like it.
I love
Emlyn and
Emrys on boys, and
Emil is a GP. I don't think there are any other
Em- names for girls I like though.
Tippins is the only
Emma I can think of that I know for sure. There might be a little
Emma or two at church, but I'm not sure. I've known a ton of
Emily's my age though (early 20s). The only one I can think of whose middle name I know is
Emily Maude. I don't know any who go by
Emmy.
