I'm sorry but I just can't stand it. I've never met any good looking Lars, neither one who can dress (and I'm not picky).
Lars is a fat, old guy for me. Sorry. But I like Karl, even though I prefer Carl.
Carl Laurence or Carl Rudolf would be fine :) Maybe you like Larssa?
Edit: Lars is Sweden's second most popular name (not on babies) and what has probably affected me. So in the US or such, I can understand if the name sound "exotic" and "new" while it sounds old, dated and boring for me. Like James sounds exotic and fresh to me, and deadly boring for some Americans. :)
