I love Louisa, and would love to use it, but my husband knows someone named Louis that he hates. That said, I know three Louisa's. One who is oh, maybe mid-60's, and one who is around 18, and then I know a little 3 year old name Louisa, who is absolutely adorable, and goes by Lulu. I also know one Louise. I hear the name and think of little woman, and of all things classy. For some reason, I also think of the name Charlotte, and think Louisa Charlotte would be a beautiful combo.
