[Opinions] Phineas
Replies
Yes! I have never heard came across a child called Phinneas (not sure how she spelled it) before so she is the only connection that I, and many other people make with the name.
I don't think Roberts at all. I think it is a bit old fashioned but not too much. In my community (Jewish) Phineas / Pinchas is very common.

Thanks for telling me, Betsy : )
I don't think of Julia Roberts at all. [in fact I don't know what Julia has to do with Phineas, lol]
Nor do I think it old fashioned. However, I dislike the name because it makes me think of the male body part that is an anagram of it, daft I know, but that's immediatley what springs to mind when I see or hear Phineas.
Perhaps it's just me!

Nope, i don't automatically think of Julia Roberts when i hear the name Phineas (i don't have a clue what Julia Roberts has got to do with the name Phineas).... I don't think that the name is too old fashioned to use now either.... I really like it, it's pretty and diferent.
