[Opinions] WDYTO Delphi? (m)
First, WDYTO it alone(not as a nn)? Then, WDYTO it as a nn for a name for Delphine? If you think it looks too incomplete, do you think changing the spelling would help it look more 'complete'(if you can think of a different spelling, please include it)? TIA!

I love Delphi - it makes a wonderful nn for Delphine. It reminds me of the vintage English actress Delphi Lawrence.

I like it. I think it could work as a full name or a nickname for Delphine. I prefer it as a full name, Delphine reminds me of dolphins.

Reminds me ofAdelphi University, really just because of the spelling. I'm guessing you are pronouncing it dell-fee. I really like it though. As for a nickname for Delphine, it could work.

Delphi being a place name, I think it works fine on it's own. It's lovely, and I'd like to see it on a little girl. However, I love love love Delphine, so either way it's good. :)

Delphi just sounds like a nn to me. I do like it as a nn for Delphine, not on its own.
Any other spelling I come up with just makes it look more incomplete. And silly. Mustn't forget silly.

I think Delphi is fine as a first name, but I don't really like it. I LOVE Delphine though.
