I just think it is too 80's. This is one of those fad names from the 70's / 80's, and I don't really think much else of it. I keep thinking of the Pearl Jam song, "Jeremy spoke in classs todaaayyyyy."

Jeremy Ross
Jeremy Todd - double dose of 80's - and I don't like Todd either, but I'm trying to think of 1 syllable names.
Jeremy Craig - another double-y 80's combo
