I like it. I imagine a strong, sophisticated person. Maybe a bit quirky and odd or a bit serious.

For the longest time, it only made me think of olives and I couldn't picture it on a real person, much less a child. But since seeing "Little Miss Sunshine" and hearing that Isla Fisher & Sacha Baron Cohen named their baby Olive, it's grown on me exponentially.

I used to dislike Olive and feel it was really old-ladyish, then my (almost one-year-old) goddaughter was given the name (after her mum's great-aunt, I think), and now I'm quite fond of it. I imagine either someone very young and blonde, or an old lady (I guess that association is still there a little!).

I love Olive! I picture a sort of classically pretty girl who is quite intelligent and always has interesting conversation. As for siblings I like:
