Message: "Andalucia?!" - Behind the Name

I just heard about a kid - a little girl of about three years old - whose name is "Andalucia". My first reaction was " What ?" - because isn't that the name of an island or something?
But anyway, what do you all think?

Isn't that a region in Spain (and properly spelled Andalusia)?

Yes, and it's spelled Andalusia in English, Andalucía in Spanish.

It is one of those place names that sounds like it could be a real name. But meh.
