I'm reading a memoir by a woman of Jordanian descent. Her two young daughters are named Dania and Shadia. WDYT? I rather like Shadia, Dania sounds a bit like a cutesy variation of Dani, or something.

Shadia is gorgeous

I love Arabic names. There's just something about them that seems... song-like? Am I the only person who sometimes gets that vibe out of certain names? Probably not lol, considering how obsessed we are on this website...

Dania is pretty. I kind of like Shadia too.

Never met someone called Dania, and according to this site it's Spanish, so that's really interesting. You're right, it does sound cutesy.

Shadia is pretty and reminds me of Shazia which was popular around here for a time.
